Who Presided Lahore Session of 1929 of Indian National Congress?
Jawaharlal Nehru was the elected president of the historical Lahore session 1929 of Congress.
During the session passed a resolution of ‘full autonomy’ sought. Earlier asking was the main goal of the colonial state, Nehru words, “At the end of the policy is not beneficial in the long run iniquity. It may be that some benefit may be temporary. If we will overcome poverty in this country, not the laws, not Machake noise, by complaining, but by hard work. One man, old and young, men, woman and child will work. Before us is not comfort.”
Later on Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru was became the first Prime minister of India.
