    Answer: (4) 27 

    Explanation:-
    2^x – 2^x  – 1 = 4
    2^x (1 – 1/2) = 4
    2^x /2 = 4
    2^x = 4 x 2 
    2^x = 2^3
    Compared the equation,
    x = 3
    Then, the value of x^x = 3^3
     = 3 x 3 x 3
     = 27

    Then, the value of x^x  is 27.

    Hence, the answer is (4) 27.
