    Answer: (4) loss of 2.25%

    Solution:-
    The selling price of a T.V. set = Rs.20,000
    Gain = 15%
    Then, the cost price of a T.V. set = 20,000 x 100/115
    = Rs.17,391.30

    If loss = 15%
    Then, the cost price of T.V. set = 20,000 x 100/85
    = Rs.23529.71

    Total cost price of both T.V. set = 23,529.71 + 17,391.30
    = Rs.40,921

    Selling price of both T.V. set = 2 x 20,000
    = Rs.40,000

    Then, Loss = 40,900 – 40,000
    = Rs.900
    Percentage of loss = 900 x 100/40,000
    = 2.25%

    Then, the shopkeeper’s loss is 2.25%.

    Hence, the correct answer is option (4) loss of 2.25%.
