    Answer: (2) 10 kg.
    Explanation:-
    Let be the quantity of milk in a mixture = 7X and quantity of water in a mixture = 4X
    Mixture = 55 kg.    (Given)
    7X + 4X = 55
    11X = 55
    X = 5
    Then, quantity of milk in a mixture = 7 x 5 = 35 km and water = 5 x 4 = 20 kg.

    Let be the Y litres of water must be added to make the ratio = 7:6
    Then, 35/ (20 + X) = 7/6
    210 = 140 + 7X
    7X = 70
    X = 10

    Hence, the answer is (2) 10 kg.
