    Ibadat Khana

    Akbar held his religious discussion in Ibadat Khana. Ibadat Khana also known as House of Worship a meeting room built by Akbar at his palace in Fatehpur Sikri in 1575. Ibadat Khana, the House of Worship, which he set apart for religious discussions. Every Friday after the congregational prayers, scholars, dervishes, theologians and courtiers interested in religious affairs would assemble in the in the Ibadat Khana and discuss religious subjects in the royal presence. Akbar is also known for his vision of empire as an interfaith community
