    Answer: (c) Rs.1800
    Explanation:-

The ratio of the first, second and third class railway fears = 6: 4: 1
and the ratio of the passengers of three classes = 2: 5: 50
    The ratio of the amount of three classes = (2 x 6): (5 x 4): (50 x 1) =12: 20: 50
    = 6: 10: 25

    Total amount collected = 12300
    Amount collected by the first class passengers = 6 x 12300/41 =Rs.1800

Hence, Rs.1800 collected from the first class passengers.
