    Answer: (3) 45 degree

    Explanation:-
    For answer look in below diagram according to question, 

    RE: The angle of elevation of the Sun when the length of the shadow of a pole is equal to its height is :


    tan A = BC/AB
    tan A = H/H
         = 1
    tan A = tan 45
    A = 45 degree.

    Then, the value of the elevation of the sun when  the length of the shadow of a pole is equal to its height is 45 degree. 

    Hence, the correct answer is option (3) 45 degree.
