What will be the Approximate Area of the Triangle? If

The lengths of the three sides of a triangle are 35 cm, 40 cm and 45 cm respectively. The approximate area of the triangle will be

    Answer: (1) 670.82 cm2

    Explanation:-
    Formula –
    The Area of the triangle = √
    S(S – a) (S – b) (S – c)
    Where, S = (a + b + c)/2 , a, b and C are of the side of a triangle.

    Then, a = 35, b = 40  and c = 45
    S = (35 + 40 + 45)/2
    = 120/2
    S = 60 cm

    Then, the area of the triangle = 60(60 – 35) (60 – 40) (60 – 45)
    = 60 x 25 x 20 x 15
    =  45,000
    = 670.82 cm2

    Then, the area of the triangle is 670.82 cm2.

    Hence, the answer is (1) 670.82 cm2.
