    Aravali range in north-western India is one of the oldest mountain system in the world. The hill system of northern India is known as a Aravalli Range, Aravali is Hindi and Sanskrit word and the mean of Aravali is ‘Line of Peaks’ is a range of mountain in western India running across Indian states of Gujarat Rajasthan Haryana and Delhi.

    The Aravali are some of the oldest fold mountain in the world. Beginning from the Rajasthan in western India, and mountain range reach out to the Capital Delhi. Aravali range is renowned for mineral resources and surrounded by dense forests with rich in flora and fauna. The highest peak of Aravali Mountain Range is Guru Shikhar with height 1,722 m (5,650 ft) at Mount Abu.
