    The radius of circle A = 8 cm
    The diameter of circle B = 8 cm.
    Then, the radius of circle B = 8/2 = 4 cm.
    The diameter of new circle (C) = 8 + 4 = 12 cm
    Then ,the radius of new circle (C) = 12/2 = 6 cm.
    Formula –
    The area of circle = pai R2
    Therefore, the area of new circle (C) = (6)2 pie = 36 pie cm square.
    Hence, the answer is (1)  36 pie cm square.
