    The great poet Rahul Sankrityayan (9 April 1893- 14 April 1963) was dedicated his life to get freedom from British  Government. He took a part in Non-Cooperation Movement of 1920. He was active Chhapra District in Bihar.  Rahul sankrityayan fought very bravely against british. he was jailed fo r three years for making anti-British writings and speeches. He is called as father of Hindi. He got many awards for his great contribution in hindi. As; Sahitya Akadmi Award and Padma Bhooshan, it was a great achievement for him.  He travelled around the world in many countries.
