    Answer: Article 21 (A)

    Article 21 (A) is Article of Constitution of India entrusts parents with the responsibility of providing opportunities for education to their children. An Article 21 (A) is enacted  on 4 August 2009. This act came into force on 1st April 2010 and India became one of 135 countries to make education fundamental right of every child. The bill was approved by the cabinet on  2 July 2009, Rajya Sabha passed the bill on 20 July 2009 and the Lok Sabha on 4 August 2009.

    Here are some important point of the ‘RTE Act’;
    Right of children to free and compulsory education till completion of elementary education in you locality or area school.
    It makes provisions for a non-admitted child to be admitted to an age appropriate class.
