    Option 3 (69.72 % ) is the right answer.

    Total literacy rate in Uttar Pradesh recorded during Census 2011 is 69.72 % indicating a jump of 13 .45 % point over Census 2001. Rural and urban literacy rate is 67 .55 % and 77.01 %  respectively. The decadal change indicates an addition of 15.02 %  point in rural areas and 7.26 % point in urban areas literacy rate. Among the districts, Ghaziabad has recorded the highest literacy rate (85.00 %) during Census 2011 followedby Gautam Buddha Nagar (82.20 %), Kanpur Nagar (81.31 per % ), Auraiya (80.25 %), Etawah (79.99 %), Lucknow (79.33 %), Mainpuri (78.26 %), Kanpur Dehat (77 .52 %) and Varanasi (77 .05 %).Male literacy rate is 78.48 % inruralareas and8l.75 %in urban areas during Census 2011.
