    The Author of Arthashastra was a Contemporary of Chandragupta Maurya. It is an ancient Indian treatise on statecraft and the science of living.  It is work of India’s one of the best intellectuals Kautilya, also known as Chanakya or Vishnugupta. This book is written in Sanskrit. discusses theories and principles of governing a state. The means of this title book  is “the Science of Material Gain or Science of Polity, does not leave any doubts about it ends. Arthashastra is divided into 15 books;
