    Answer: (3). Rs. 2400

    The Rupees spends in first four months of year = 1800.
    let salary of first four months be X,
    Average salary of first four months = total salary of first four months / 4 months
    1800 = X / 4
    X = 1800 * 4
    X = 7200. a total salary of first four months is Rs. 7200.

    The Rupees spends in next eight months = 2000.
    let salary of next eight months be Y,
    Average salary of next eight months = total salary of next eight months / 8 months
    2000 = Y / 8
    Y = 2000 * 8
    Y = 16000, the total salary of next eight months is Rs. 44800.
    and saving of year = Rs. 5600

    Therefore, the total salary of the year = salary of first four months + salary of next eight months + saving of the year.
    Total salary of year = Rs. ( 7200 +16000 +5600 )
    A total salary of year = Rs. 28800
    The average salary of year = 28800 / 12
    Average = Rs. 2400.
