In How many days B can complete the job alone?

A  & B can complete a  work in 24 days. If B does work alone  last 6 days the  work  completed in 26 days. How many days B alone completed the same job?

    Answer: 36 days

    Explanation:-
    A & B can complete a work = 24 days
    Therefore,  A & B can a work in a day = 1/24

    A & B can work in 20 days = 1 x 20/24
    = 5/6
    Remaining work = 1 – 5/6
    = (6 – 5)/6
    = 1/6
    B can complete remaining work in 6 days = 1/6
    Therefore, B can work in a day = 1/6 x 6
    = 1/36

    Then, B can complete the same work = 36 days

    Hence, the answer is 36 days.
