    Bhadurshah Zafar was the last Mughal emperor of India. He was also known as the Bahadur Shah ll.  Bhadurshah reigned from 1837 to 1857 for a period of 20 years. Bahadurshah was the son of Akbar Shah and Lal Bai. BhadurShah did not rule over his empire with a strong hand because of the power of the British. The first war fo Independence in India started in 1857 under the leadership of Bahadur Shas Zafar. 

    In 1858, he was exiled to Rangoon in Myanmar, he lived there for five years and died at the age of 87 in 1862.
