    Bihu is famous folk dance of Assam, Indian dance forms is no boundaries for caste and sect. Bihu is a festival of Assam and Bihu dance is an Indiscernible part of the Bihu festival. It’s celebrated during the harvesting time in mid-April. Young girl and man both participated in this dance together and man play drums and pipes and love matter song sung the during the performance and dance performed in circles or parallel rows.

    In Assame assamese celebrate three types of Bihu in a year – Rangoli Bihu of ‘Bohaag Bihu’, Kati Bihu or Konagaali Bihu and the last but not the least Magh bihu or ‘Bhogaali Bihu’.  Bihu dance is most colorful dance of India in Assam. Assam is one of the most beautiful states of India and known for its tea gardens.
