How Many Bottles of Oil can The Tin Contain? If

A tin of oil was 4/5 full. When 6 bottles of oil were taken out and 4 bottles of oil poured into it, it was 3/4 full. How many bottles of oil can the tin contain?

    Answer: (4) 40 
    Explanation:-
    Let the capacity of tin be = X liters.
    Volume of oil in tin bottle = 4 X/5  liters
    Take 6 bottle and poured 4 bottle
    Then  4 X/5 – 6 + 4 = 3 X/4
    – 2 = 3 X/4 – 4 X/5
    – 2 = (3 X x 5 – 4 X x 4)/20
    – 2 = (15 X – 16 X)/20
    – 2 = – X/20
    2 = X/20
    X = 40 bottles
    Hence, the answer is (4) 40 bottles.
