    Suez Canal

    Suez Canal is one of the world’s most important waterways as it supports 8% of the world’s shipping traffic and almost 50 ships pass through the canal daily.
    The Suez Canal was built by French developer Ferdinand de Lesseps. The Suez Canal was began in 1858 it took over 10 years and an estimated one and a half million workers to complete. The canal was first opened on November 17, 1869. It’s cost is estimated at $100,000,000, including harbors.
