The Term ‘Butterfly stroke’ is associated with Swimming. Butterfly stroke in swimming was invented by the German Eric Rademacher in 1926. Butterfly stroke sometimes referred to as “Fly” for short. The most common swimming stroke or styles are the freestyle stroke, the breaststroke, the backstroke and the butterfly stroke.
