    Akhilesh Yadav

    Akhilesh Yadav (1 July 1973) is the Youngest Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is the son of SP supremo Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav.  He is an Indian politician and a member of the Samajwadi party. He was appointed as a Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in March 2012, at that time he was the youngest chief minister of the Uttar Pradesh. Akhilesh Yadav has been a member of several committees, including those on forests and environment, science and technology and urban development.

    Akhilesh Yadav was elected for the first time as the member of the Lok Sabha Kannauj in 2000. In 2004, he was re-elected as the member of the Lok Sabha, and in 2009, he was re-elected as the member of the Lok Sabha for the third consecutive term. Akhilesh Yadav’s wife, Dimple Yadav was elected unopposed from Kannauj Lok sabha seat in the by-poll election in 2012.
