    Harish Rawat

    Harish Rawat was Sworn as the new Chief Minister of Uttarakhand in February 2014. Harish Rawat is the Member of Indian National Congress, He is a seventh Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, succeeding Vijay Bahuguna.
    Uttarakhand was instituted on 02 November 2000, from the instituted date to till date seven minister served as a Chief Minister, Across four assembly terms.  These seven Chief Minister are

    1. Nityananad Swami – from 9 November 2000 to 29 October 2001,     Bhartiya Janta Party
    2. B.S Koshyari              – from 30 October 2001 to 1 March 2002,              Bhartiya Janta Party
    3. N.D Tiwari                  – from 02 March 2002 to 07 March 2007,               Indian National Congress
    4. B. C. Khanduri          – from 08 March 2007 to 23 June 2009,                    Bhartiya Janta party
    5. Ramesh Pokhriyal – from  24 June 2009 to 10 September 2011,         Bhartiya Janta party
