    The Non-Resident Indian are entitled to vote in elections in India.

    On February 2015, Mr. Haribhai Partibhai Chaudhary, Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs, introduced The Citizenship Bill 2015, in Lok Sabha. In The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2015 The Non-Resident Indian are entitled to vote in election in India has not been made to the Citizenship Act of India by the Amendment in 2015.
