    Cripps Mission Came to India in 1942. The head of the mission was Sir Stafford Cripps, who was a politician and Government minister in the War Cabinet of Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Cripps Mission was attempt by the British government in late March 1942. The purpose of this mission was to secure Indian cooperation and support in World War II. Cripps mission was failed  because Indian  Nationalist not satisfy with this proposal.
