    Rufiyaa is the currecy of Maldives. One Rifuyaa is equal to 100 Laaris. The exchange rate for US Dollar at the time of writing in MRf. 12.85 for the dollar. Rufiyaa bank notes come in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 500. Payment in the resorts and hotels can be made in most hard currency in cash, travelers, cheques or credit cards.
