Find out the different between simple interest on Rs.600 for 4 years at the rate of 5% and 10%

    Answer: (4) Rs.120
    Explanation:-
    Given-
    Principal = Rs.600, time = 4 years & rate = 5 %
    Formula-
    Simple Interest = P x R x T/100
    Where, P – principal, R – rate  & T – time.
    Then, Simple Interest = 600 x 5  x 4/100
    = 6 x 20
    = Rs.120
    If Rate = 10 %
    Then, Simple Interest = 600 x 10 x 4/100
    = Rs.240
    the different between simple interest on Rs.600 for 4 years at the rate of 5% and 10% = 240 – 120
    = Rs.120
    Hence, the answer is (4) Rs.120.
