    Desk Top Publishing

Desk Top Publishing is a creation of documents using page layout skills on a personal computer. It makes use of a combination of text and graphics in order to create new documents. DTP was first though up by Paul Brainerd at Aldus after he created and released the Aldus Pagemaker software program in 1985 for the Macintosh. Desk Top Publishing is utilized to create printed material such as book covers, brochure, fliers, etc.
