    Answer: (3) 48 cm3

    Explanation:-

    Given:-
    The ratio of the ages of cuboid = 1: 2: 3

    Let the ages of the cuboid are X, 2 X and 3 X

    Then,
    2(X x 2X + 3 X x 2 X + 3 X x X) = 88
    2(2X2 + 6X2 + 3 X2) = 88
    2 x 11 X2 = 88
    X2 = 88/22
    X2 = 4
    Square root on both side,
    X = 2

    Then, the ages of cuboid are X = 2, 2 X = 2 x 2 = 4  &  3 X = 2 x 3 = 6 cm

    So, the volume of the cuboid = 2 x 4 x 6
     = 48 cm3

    Hence, the correct answer is option (3) 48 cm3.
