In the given figure if QRS is an equilateral triangle and TQS is an isosceles triangle and X=47o then the value of Y (in degrees) will be

    Answer: (a) 13o

    Solution:-
    Angle X = Angle TQS = 47        (Triangle QST is an isosceles triangle then, ST = QT) 

    Angle Y + Angle TQS = 60  (Triangle PQR is an equilateral triangle) 
    Then, Y = 60 – 47
     = 13 degree. 

    Then, the value of Y is 13 degree. 

    Hence, the correct answer is option (a) 13 degree.
