Find Out the Area of the Field? If

The perimeter of a triangular field is 540 metres and the ratio of its sides is 5:12:13. What will be the area of this field?

    Answer: (4) 9720 sq. meters

    Explanation:-

    The perimeter of the triangular field = 540 meters
    The ratio of the sides of the triangular fields = 5: 12: 13
    Let the side of the triangular field = 5X, 12X and 13X.
    Then, 5 X + 12 X + 13 X = 540 meters
    30 X = 540
    X = 540/30
    X = 18 m
    Then, the sides of the triangle are 5 X = 5 x 18 = 90 m, 12 X = 12 x 18 = 216 m and 13 X = 13 x 18 = 234 m

    The are of the triangle = 90 x 216/2
    = 45 x 216
    = 9720 sq.meters.
    Then, the are of the triangle is 9720 sq. meters.

    Hence, the answer is (4) 9720 sq. meters.
