Find the Value of is (x – y)

If sin (60 – x) = cos (y + 60) then the value of is sin(x – y) is

    Answer: (2) 1/2
    Explanation:-
    sin (60 – x) = cos (Y + 60)
    sin (60 – x) = sin [90 – (Y  + 60)]
    60 – x = 90 – Y – 60
    y – x = 30 – 60
    y – x = – 30
    x – y = 30
    Then, sin (x – y) = sin 30 = 1/2
    Hence, the answer is (2) 1/2.
