Fire cannot burn below

    Answer 2.  Fire cannot start/burn below 15% of Oxygen in the air/atmosphere.

    The air we breathe in atmosphere contains 78% Nitrogen and about 21 percent Oxygen. But fire only needs an atmosphere with at least 16 percent oxygen. Below this level of O2, it is not possible to burn fire.
