    Chandragupta l was assuming the title of ‘Maharajadhiraj’. Chandragupta was the founder of Maurya dynasty after the defeated the Dhana Nanda. Meghasthenes a greek ambassador visit in his court. He accepted the Jainism at the end of life. He was the father of Bindusara and Grandfather of great king Asahok.
