Two toys are sold at ₹ 504 each. One toy brings the dealer again of 12% and the other a loss of 4%. The gain on loss percent by selling the toys

    Answer: (1) 44/13% profit
    Explanation:-
    The S.P of a toy = Rs.504
    Profit  =12%
    Then, Cost price = 504 x 100/112
    = Rs.450
    Other toy he get 4% loss.
    Then, the Cost price of other toy = 504 x 100/96
    = Rs.525
    Total cost price of toys = 450 + 525 = Rs.575
    The selling price of toys = 2 x 504 = Rs.1008
    Profit = 1008 – 975 = Rs.33
    Percentage of profit = 33 x 100/975
    = 44/13%
    Hence, the answer is (1) 44/13% Profit.
