    Answer:  (4) 14%

    Explanation:-
    Let the cost price of goods = Rs. 100

    A shopkeeper marks his goods 20% higher than the cost price.
    Then, the marked price = 100 + 100 x 20/100
     = 100 + 20 
     = Rs. 120

    He allows a discount of 5%.
    Then, the selling price of goods = 120 – 120 x 5/100
     = 120 – 6
     = Rs. 114

    Then, the profit = 114 – 100
     = Rs. 14

    Hence, the answer is (4) 14%.
