Find the Height (in metres) of the Telegraph Post :

A telegraph post is bet at a point above the ground due to storm. Its top just touches the ground at a distance of 10√3m from its foot and makes an angle of 30o with the horizontal. Then height (in metres) of the telegraph post is

    Explanation:-
    According to the question ,
    In the figure,

    RE: Find the Height (in metres) of the Telegraph Post :


    Let the height of the telegraph post be h m
    Then, in right triangle ABC,
    tan 30 degree = BC/AB
    sqrt.3 = h/10 sqrt.3
    h = 10 sqrt.3 x sqrt.3
    h = 10 x 3
    h = 30 m

    Then, the height of the telegraph pole is 30 m.

    Hence, the answer is (3) 30
