How Much Distance From the starting point? If

Raju drives 25 km North and turns left and travels 5 km and reaches point ‘O’. He then turns right and covers another 5 km. Afterwards turns to East and drives 5 km. How much distance he has to travel to go back to the starting point?

    Answer: (2) 30 km

    Explanation:-
    Raju drives in North direction = 25 km
    He turns left means he drives in West direction = 5 km
    He reaches point ‘O’
    He turns to right means he drive in North direction = 5 km
    And he drives in East direction = 5 km
    Then, the total distance from staring point = 25 + 5 + 5 + 5
    = 40 km
    Before he drives  in west direction 5 km and in last he drives in East direction 5 km
    Then, the actual distance from staring point = 25 – 5 + 5 + 5
    = 25 + 5
    = 30 km
    Hence, the answer is (2) 30 km.
