    Answer: (1) Rs. 510

    Explanation:-
    The cost price of 1 kg rice = Rs. 70
    Therefore, the cost price of 30 kg rice = 70 x 30
    = Rs. 2100

    The cost price of 1 kg other quality rice = Rs. 70.75
    Therefore, the cost price of 20 kg rice = 20 x 70.75
    = Rs. 1415

    Then, the total cost price of rice = 2100 + 1415
    = Rs. 3515

    If he mixed two brand of rice,
    Then, the selling price of mixture = Rs. 80.50
    Therefore, the total selling price of rice = 80.50 x ( 30 + 20)
    = 80.50 x 50
    = Rs. 4025

    Gain = 4025 – 3515
    = Rs. 510

    Hence, the answer is (1) Rs. 510.
