If the radius of a right circular cylinder is decreased by 50 %  and its height is increased by 60 %, its volume will be decreased by:

    Explanation:-
    Let the height of the right circular cylinder be h m and radius be r cm.
    Then, volume of the circular cylinder = Pi r^2 h.

    Value of the Pi is constant so all the effect depends on radius and height.

    Let intial volume was 100.
    100 = 50% down radius effect => 50 ==50% down radius effect => 25 == 60% up height effect = 40.

    Now, 100 become 40, it means there is 60% decremented in volume.

    Hence, the correct answer is option (1) 60%.
