Who Constructed Humayun’s Tomb in Delhi?
Haji Begum Constructed Humanyun’s Tomb in Delhi. Humayun’s tomb is one of the best preserved Mughal monuments which is located in eastern Delhi. Humayun’s Tomb was the first garden tomb in India. Humanyun’s died fell from the stairs of the Sher Mandal Library. The Queen of Humanyun Haji Begum built this tomb in the memory of his husband. It was the first building to be constructed during the reign of Akbar. Humanyun tomb was built from 1562-1572 AD in Delhi. It Constructed by the Persian Architect, Mirak Mirza Ghiyuath. The structure is built mainly with red sandstone along with use of white and black marble to relieve the monotony. The marble is used largely in the borders.
