If 2 m – 1/2 m = 2, where m does not equal to 0, then the value of m² + 1/16 m²  is

    Answer: (c) 3/2

    Solution:-
    2 m – 1/2 m = 2
    Both side divide by 2,
    m – 1/4 m = 1
    Square on both side,
    (m – 1/4 m)² = 1²
    m² + (1/4 m)² – 2 m x 1/4 m = 1
    m² + 1/ 16 m² – 1/2 = 1
    m² + 1/ 16 m² = 1 + 1/2
    m² + 1/ 16 m² = 3/2

    Then, the value of m² + 1/ 16 m² is 3/2.

    Hence, the correct answer is option (c) 3/2.
