    Answer: (b) 2 

    Solution:-
    2^(2 n – 1) = 1/8^(n – 3)
    2^2 n/2 = 1/2^3(n- 3)
    2^2 n/2 = 2^9/2^3 n 
    By cross multiplication, 
    2^2 n x 2^3 n = 2 x 2^9
    2^(2 n + 3 n) = 2^10
    Comparing on both side, 
    5 n = 10 
    n = 10/5
    n = 2

    Then, the value of n is 2. 

    Hence, the correct answer is option (b) 2.
