    The Indian Independence Act, 1947 came into force on 18 July 1947 after royal imprimatur. The Indian Independence Act was enacted by the British Parliament that officially declared the Independence of India. The Parliament of the United Kingdom passed the Act and this Act was passed by the Prime Minister Clement Attlee

    According to this Act British India became the two separate countries India and Pakistan, and Indian political parties agreed on this Act and the partition of India. Indian Independence Act was announced on 3rd June 1947 by the British Government.
