    (i) Haryana area is 44,212 km2 and is the northern region, with Chandigarh capital. Manohal Lal Khattar is a Chief Minister of Haryana. The population of Haryana according to 2011 Census is 25,353,081. Haryana official language is Hindi and Punjabi and the regional language is Haryanvi.
    (ii) Uttarakhand area is 53,484 km2 in northern region, Dehradun is a capital of Uttarakhand and Harish Rawat is a Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. The population of Haryana according to 2011 Census is 10,116,752. Official languages of this state are Hindi and Sanskrit.
    (iii) Himachal Pradesh area is 55,673 km2 in northern region, Shimla is a capital of Himachal Pradesh and Virbhadra Singh is Chief Minister of this state. The population of this state in pursuance of 2011 6,856,509. Hindi is official language of this state.
    (iv) Jharkhand area is 79,714 km2 and is eastern region, and the capital of Jharkhand is Ranchi and Chief Minister is Raghubar das. The population of this state is 32,988,134 in 2011 accordance. Official language of this state is Hindi and Urdu.

    Madhya Pradesh is the central state of India and it is the second state according the area.
