    Active Terrorist Organisation in Iraq and Syria

    ISIS is Active Terrorist Organisation in Iraq and Syria. ISIS stand Islamic State of Iraq and Syria or commonly known as the Islamic State is a Salafi Jihadi Extremist militant group and the self-proclaimed caliphate and Islamic state. ISIS formed in 1999 by Jordanian radical Abu Musab al-Zarqawi as Jama-at-al-Tawhid-wa-al-Jihad now the Leader is Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, Deputy leader Abu Ala al-Afri. ISIS is a type of Rebel group controlling territory.

    Abu-bakr al-Baghadadi born in Samarra, north of Baghdad in 1971. In 2010, he emerged as the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq, one of the group that later became ISIS.
