    Answer:  (4) 36 cm²

    Explanation:-
    The length of a diagonal of a square = 6√2 cm

    Formula-
    The area of the square = d²/2

    Where, d = diagonal of the square. 

    Then, the area of the square = (6√2)²/2
    = (6 x √2 x 6 x √2)/2
    = 36 x 2/2
    36 cm²

    Then, the area of the square is  36 cm².

    Hence, the correct answer is option (4) 36 cm².
