    The Liberal Democrats believe it’s each person’s responsibility and the states’s duty to protect and enlarge both liberty and social justice. Liberalism first became a distinct political movement during the Age of Enlightenment. 
    The liberal word derives from the latin liber means is “free” or “not a slave”
