Raghav’s wages were reduced by 50 %. Again the reduced wages increased by 50% What is his loss?

    Answer: (3) 25 %

    Explanation:-
    Let the Raghav’s  wages be 100.

    Raghava’s wages were reduced by 50 %.
    Then, Raghav’a  wages = 100 – 100 x 50/100
    = 100 – 50
    = 50

    Again he increased by 50  %,
    Then, Raghav’s wages = 50 + 50 x 50 /100
    = 50 + 25
    = 75

    Loss = 100 – 75
    = 25

    Percentage of loss = 25 x 100/100
    = 25 %.

    Hence, the answer is (3) 25 %.
