RE: Manas sactuary is located at

It is bounded to the north by the forest of Bhutan. It is the part of the core zone and lies alongside the sifting river channels of the Manan River. Its beauty includes a range of forested hill, alluvial grasslands and tropical evergreen forests. It provides critical and executable habitats for rare and endangered species, tiger, greater one-horned rhino, swamp deer, pygmy hog and Bengal florican.

Manas is recognized not only for its rich biodiversity but also for its spectacular scenery and natural landscape. It is located at the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas.
